NZCLW is celebrating its 12th year, returning with refreshed dates from 29 July to 5 August 2026, and we’re excited to spotlight a new group of inspiring Chinese language learners.

The Chinese Language Superstars programme celebrates people across Aotearoa who are learning Chinese and embracing the challenge in their own way. Whether you’re at the very beginning of your journey or have been learning for years - and whatever Chinese language or dialect you’re learning - we’d love to hear your story.

Selected Chinese Language Superstars will be recognised throughout NZCLW and receive:

​

• Public recognition across NZCLW social media

• An award presented at the NZCLW Opening Ceremony at Parliament

• Official NZCLW merchandise

• Potential opportunities to be referred for media or interviews to share your language learning experience​
