Her Story (《好东西》) – NZCLW 2025 Special Screening
Her Story is a warmly feminist comedy‑drama set in Shanghai. It follows Wang Tiemei, a recently unemployed single mother who relocates with her daughter and forms a deep bond with her neighbor, Xiao Ye—an emotionally vulnerable aspiring singer. Together they navigate challenges from career setbacks to relational turbulence, rediscovering the strength in connection, autonomy, and shared healing.
This film is featured as a Special Screening for New Zealand Chinese Language Week 2025.
