Join the Wellington Mahjong & Chinese Chess Club for two relaxed, social game sessions. 

We play 13-tile Cantonese-style Mahjong, with optional tables for Hong Kong, Taiwanese, or Sichuan variations. Chinese Chess (象棋) and Go (圍棋) sets are also available. All skill levels are welcome — whether you’re completely new or looking to sharpen your strategy. The club is a friendly, inclusive space to learn, play, and connect with others who enjoy traditional Chinese games. 

$10 per session (includes tea, coffee & light snacks) 

A free beginner’s Mahjong lesson will be offered on Saturday from 1:30–2:30pm.
