TWO Gisborne primary schools acknowledged Chinese Language Week with special activities such as art and table tennis as part of this Kiwi-driven initiative.

Now in its third year, Chinese Language Week aims to raise awareness of the need for greater understanding of culture and language between New Zealand and China — our largest trading partner.
